Today's assignment: "Broken, But Beautiful". Today, I feel a little "broken" myself, however I do not fit the beautiful part. Maybe broken is the wrong word - more like forgotten or unappreciated, but I can relate!
When I saw this beautiful flower, I knew I had the perfect answer for the assignment. It is perfect except for the broken stem, so I might look past it (forgotten it or not appreciated what it could be) if I were picking flowers for a bouquet. The first 2 shots are a beautiful flower and the third is still a beautiful flower, but with a broken stem. Broken, yes; Beautiful, definitely!
I think that I will go bring it inside to float in a bowl and enjoy not only its beauty, but its aroma.

What am I???
Last Fall, I received a wonderful gift of plants.
Someone was thinning out their garden and gave me some of the plants. I know that if I just wait and see, I will have some beautiful flowers and then I will know what they are. At this point, I have no idea. I do know that my poor garden needs some TLC and very much needs some rain.

When I first got this chair, it didn't have a back or seat. My Dad taught me how to "rush" and worked with me to finish it, so needless to say this chair holds some great memories. My Aunt told me it was called a sewing rocker and I heard from someone else that it was called a nursing rocker. It really doesn't matter to me because it is my rocker.

"Do you have time"?
What a simple question and yet one that will haunt me forever.
Years ago, someone asked me if I had time to talk and I said no, I really didn't.
We'll talk tomorrow was my answer.
That tomorrow never came for him.
The quote on the watch below is:
"We do not remember days, We remember moments"
I wish the moment that I remember was a better one.
When I begin to think that I have too much to do and can't stop for a minute to talk,
I remember that moment and all the "other things" become un-important.
My answer is, Yes, I have time.
