The assignment: The masks we hide behind-

Some of us face the world looking as if we are "tough as nails".
In reality, we are like "squishy" marshmallows,
just hoping that all of the "abuses" that life throws at us won't deflate our spirit.

    Great symbolism. Don't those who are tough as nails know that we all know they are marshmallows? Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all lose that tough "mask" and just be real? Nice job today.

    Terrific interpretation of the assignment!! I love how you've captured your subjects: the nails, in harsh light while the marshmellows were captured in a softer light...very fitting for both. Great job!!!
